Description
We will start by picking you up from your hotel in Punta Arenas (urban radius) to the starting point of our navigation through the Strait of Magellan. Our destination: Porvenir in Tierra del Fuego. Navigation time 2 hours. Once on the island, we will pass through Porvenir making a small city tour and stop for lunch, then we will head to the King Penguin Natural Reserve. Here, you will have the unique opportunity to observe the imposing king penguins, the second largest species in the world. After approximately one hour of observation and walking along the marked trail, we will continue our journey through Tierra del Fuego. Afterwards we will go to Punta Delgada (the narrowest part of the Strait of Magellan), to make the second navigation (Approximate time 30 min). During the trip we will visit several places such as Estancia San Gregorio, a historic ranch dating back to 1878, which still preserves some of its original facilities. Finally, we will return to Punta Arenas. Tour 1: Punta Arenas - Porvenir - Pinguino Rey Natural Reserve - Punta Delgada - San Gregorio - Punta Arenas. Route 2: Punta Arenas - San Gregorio - Punta Delgada - Cerro Sombrero - Pinguino Rey Natural Reserve - Porvenir - Punta Arenas.
