Description

Embark on an epic adventure with us! We start at 6:00 am in our office, where we will equip you with everything you need. Then, an approximately 30-minute drive takes us to the base of the majestic Villarrica Volcano. At 7:30 am we begin our walk, moving at a constant pace that will allow us to fully enjoy the landscape. During the ascent, you will be able to admire the panoramic views of Pucón, Villarrica, the lakes and volcanoes in the area. As we approach the glacier near the summit, we will use crampons and ice axes, always with the support and guidance of our expert guides. After 5-6 hours of climbing, the summit is reached at 2,848 meters above sea level. Contemplate the center of the crater and its impressive geological formation. Depending on its volcanic activity, it is possible to see lava inside its crater. **Important: According to SERNAGEOMIN, the Villarrica volcano is on yellow alert, which means that it is not allowed to reach its summit (2,848 meters above sea level), the height to be reached is 2,600 meters above sea level. We are waiting for the alert to go down to GREEN. Once we have enjoyed the view and captured some memories in photos, we will begin the descent. In winter, autumn and spring, we will slide down snow slides; In summer, we will descend on foot. The return to the base will take us between two and four hours, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Pucón. Back at the office, we will celebrate our feat with cold beers in summer or hot chocolate in winter: join us for an exciting experience at the Villarrica volcano!
