Salar De Uyuni DAY 1: SALAR DE UYUNI, COQUESA We will pick you up at the meeting point at 10:00 a.m. m., first we will visit the Train Cemetery and the city of Colchani. Later, we will enter the incredible Salar de Uyuni and visit the “Salt Hotel-Museum”, the first of its kind that currently only functions as a museum. Along the way we will be able to see fantastic optical illusions, visible in the rainy season (December to March), we will also visit the 'Ojos de Agua', small saline eruptions that help us explain the development of this enormous salt lake. At noon you will arrive at the 'Isla Incahuasi' in the middle of the Salar; There are extraordinary calcareous rocks, large populations of cacti, local fauna and spectacular 360-degree panoramic views of the salt flat from the top. Sunset on the edge of the salt flat and night in the city of Coquesa. Laguna Hedionda DAY 2: COQUESA, LAGUNA HEDIONDA We will begin the day visiting a local museum to observe the pre-Columbian mummies and later we will arrive at the Mirador Salar, located at the foot of the Tunupa volcano. Leaving the salt flat behind, we will travel through the mountain range of always snow-capped volcanoes towards Lípez, where we will find the Ollagüe volcano that we can see in the distance. Later we will restart the trip to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, along the way we will appreciate the lagoons called “High Andean Jewels”: In Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota and Honda you will have the opportunity to see different types of local birds. Night in Laguna Hedionda DAY 3: LAGUNA HEDIONDA, ANDEAN FAUNA NATIONAL RESERVE E.AVAROA, SALAR DE UYUNI This day we will get up very early to start the excursion at 6:00 a.m., our first activity is the visit to the Stone Tree, in the middle of the Siloli desert. Later we will go to the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, we will reach the noisy 'Sol de Mañana' geysers, boiling mud pools where red and gray mud boils. Then, we will enjoy a bath in the hot springs before continuing the trip through the reserve, along the way we will enjoy the panoramic view of the Dalí desert, there are stone columns sculpted by the wind that resemble the work of this famous painter. After that, you will also be able to appreciate the Green Lagoon at the foot of it. Licancabur volcano. It is time to return, we will visit the Laguna Colorada, an impressive water source, the algae and plankton give the lagoon an intense brown or red color. This is the main nesting site for flamingos and it is possible to see three; types of them in the region: Jamaican, Andean and Chilean. We will continue our trip, in the afternoon we will take a walk through the Valley of the Rocks, giant volcanic stones between 8 to 15 meters high. Our last stop is in the town of San Cristóbal. , which has been moved from its original location for the needs of one of the largest mines in Bolivia. Arrival in Uyuni at approximately 6:00 p.m.
