DAY 1 Uyuni - Colchani - Salt Hostel - Incahuasi Island 6 stops 1 Train Cemetery It is a cemetery of trains and locomotives. And it's so big that it seems like every train in South America was moved to Uyuni, Bolivia, to take its last drink. 2 Colchani Just outside the salt flats of the Salar de Uyuni is the picturesque salt processing town of Colchani. 3 Uyuni Salt Flats Bolivia's Salar de Uyuni is considered one of the most extreme and notable sights in all of South America, if not on Earth. It is the largest salt flat in the world, left by prehistoric lakes evaporated long ago. 4 Dakar Monument The Salar de Uyuni, one of the tourist gems of the Andes, for the fifth consecutive year awaits its stage of the Dakar Rally to show the world 5 Incahuasi Island One of the highlights of a tour of the Salar de Uyuni is a hike around the spectacular Incahuasi Island, otherwise known as Inkawasi. This mountainous outpost is covered in Trichocereus cacti and is surrounded by a flat white sea of hexagonal salt tiles. It was once an extraordinarily lonely and otherworldly place, 6 Salar de Uyuni After witnessing the sunset, we will go to the hotel made of salt blocks where we would spend the night. DAY 2 Ollague Volcano - Siloli Desert - Red Lagoon 4 stops 1 Ollague Ollague is a massive andesite stratovolcano on the border between Bolivia and Chile, within the Antofagasta Region of Chile and the Potosí Department of Bolivia. 2 Siloli Desert Acclimatize properly before visiting the highest desert in the world at a dizzying 15,000 feet. Dusty, barren and desperately isolated, 3 Stone Tree A psychedelic oddity, this 22-foot-tall stone tree sits on the edge of the Siloli Desert. 4 Laguna Colorada It is an area of pristine and beautiful wildlife. It is part of the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve, and in 1990 it was listed as a 'Ramsar Wetland of International Importance'. DAY 3 Polques Lagoon - Laguna Verde - Laguna Blanca - Uyuni 4 stops 1 Morning Sun Geyser Meaning 'morning sun' this series of impressive geysers are best seen in first light. Boiling mud pools abound, while the strongest geyser sprays pressurized steam up to 160 feet 2 Dali Desert Named after the surrealist master himself, the Dali Desert is famous for its worldly landscapes. rocks inexplicably scattered across the desert complete the dreamlike scene. 3 Laguna Verde Located below the ominous Licancábur volcano, the most colorful attraction in Bolivia. 4 Licancabur Licancabur. This giant (5960 meters) can be climbed by tourists, the environment is not exactly hospitable to human life. and we said goodbye in uyuni.
