Description
Day 1 Train Cemetery & the Uyuni Salt Flats Uyuni Salt Flats We will meet at the meeting point in Uyuni to take our 4=4 vehicle for 6 people, in which we will do the entire route during the three days. We will leave for the Salar de Uyuni, passing through the train cemetery and the city of Colchani before, where we can buy crafts. After that, once we are on the salt plain, we will visit the Salt Museum, and travel to Incahuasi Island, a limestone formation in the center of the salt plain. Here we will be able to walk along a track, see the giant cactus and have a privileged view of the salt plain from the top of the hill. We will end the day watching the sunset inside the salt flat, and then we can go to the salt flat hostel in San Juan del Rosario, where we will have dinner and rest for the next day. Day 2 We visit the red lagoon & see flamingos Laguna Colorada We will leave San Juan del Rosario in the morning and continue along the road that passes through the Salar de Chiguana. We will visit the lagoons of Canapa, Hedionda, Honda and Chiarcota, before entering the Siloli Desert. Here we will see the Stone Tree, a volcanic rock that, as can be deduced from the name, has the shape of a tree. We will end the day at Laguna de Colorado, a nesting center for more than 30,000 flamingos. We will spend the night at the Huayllajara Refuge. Day 3 Geysers, Hot Springs & Return to Uyuni Salar de Uyuni We will leave early in the morning to see the sunrise at the Geysers of the Sun of Tomorrow, intermittent fountains of water that rise to a temperature of 90ºC, and where we will have the opportunity to take photographs using the contrasts of the first lights and steam . We will also visit the Polques Hot Springs (bathing time, depending on the tour times), the Salvador Dalí Desert, and the Green Lagoon and White Lagoon, located on the slopes of the Licancabur volcano. After that, we will begin our direct return to Uyuni, where we will finish the tour.Includes
